About
Graphic Designer and Artist

Christina Bailey, Artist and Designer
I grew up in Spartanburg, S.C., where I was free to experiment with art. I learned from several excellent teachers and my father, an artist. My dad was always woodworking, painting, or making furniture, and he was not shy to share his process. My parents’ love for art instilled an appreciation for craft and emphasized its importance in daily life. It would be sad not to live with the beauty and sentimentality of handmade objects.
Currently, I live in Charleston, S.C., where I work as a creative and on my art practice. I am a designer for the Charleston City Paper during the day, and I have a studio in North Charleston where I work on a variety of projects, including feathers, jackets, ceramics, and fine art pieces. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums depending on what ideas I want to convey.
